Frederick Nolan
Weiford
Frederick Nolan Weiford, age 80, of Buckeye, died at Buckeye on
Friday, February 4, 2005.
He was a Master Barber with a shop at Buckeye, and he was a
Presbyterian. He served in the Navy in the Korean Conflict.
A native of Buckeye, he was born February 24, 1924, the son of the late
Detimis Notley "DN" Weiford and
Mary Alice Kellison Weiford.
Also preceding him in death were his wife, Betty Jane Rock Weiford,
three sisters, Beulah Beard, Vesta
Holly, and Georgia Carpenter, two brothers, Bill Weiford and Stuart Weiford,
and a granddaughter, Shelley Jean Wood.
Mr. Weiford is survived by two daughters, Janie Weiford, of
Gordonsville, Virginia, and Lanora Adams, of Tallahassee, Florida; two
step-daughters, Blenda Spillman, of Youngstown, Ohio, and Glenda Jones, of
Wilmington, North Carolina; a brother James
Weiford, of Shady Springs; a granddaughter and a great-grandson.
His body was cremated and his ashes buried in the Kee Cemetery. |
