| Kennie Summers Weiford aged 69 years of 1202 Quincy Street, Parkersburg, died on Friday June 27th, 1958 following a long illness. He was born in Pendleton County, May 13 1889 a son of the late Rev. and Mrs. G. S. Weiford. he had lived in Parkersburg since 1931, and was an employee of the American Vicose Company. He was a member of the E. U. B. Church, a veteran of World War I, and Legion of Guardsmen. Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Laura Beard Weiford; three sons; Keith of Huntington; Jack and William of Parkersburg, and one daughter Mrs. Helen Terrell, four brothers, John Weiford of Massilon, Ohio; Rev. Clarence Weiford of Baltimore, Maryland; Oden Weiford of Sun Valley California, and Rev. Dewey N. Weiford of Roanoke, VA; two sisters Mrs Howard Hawkins and Mrs. Lanty J. Moore of Aberdeen, Maryland; and four granddaughters and five grandsons, a great granddaughter and a number of nieces and nephews. Funeral Services were held at the Leavitt Funeral Home by the Rev. T. B. Turley. Burial in the Odd Fellows Cemetery. |
